Vacaville 4th Ward Upcoming Relief Society Events‏

Here are a few upcoming events to be sure and get on your calendars:
Monday, April 12
Basic Sewing class. Come anytime between 9:30am-12:30pm at the Stake Center.
This class is open to everyone, but is set up particularly for those who have either no or little sewing experience. A simple project, we will be making frayed-edge baby spit rags, that won't take long to complete. Sisters need to bring 1 yard of unwashed flannel, which can be bought at JoAnn's. This will yield 3 burp rags. A sign up will go around in Sunday classes and you'll need to let us know if you have a machine you can bring, or if you will need to borrow one. Example of the project will be available to see on Sunday. Also, any sisters who would like to come and bring their own unfinished projects, or just come and visit are welcome! There will be no children's class provided but you may bring your kids. Please provide your own snacks for them, etc.
Thursday, April 22
Gardening Night, 7:00-8:00pm at the Stake Center.
Bishop Mikolajcik from 3rd ward will come teach us about growing a garden. We will also learn about making quick breads from those goodies that we grow. We'll have tasty treats and recipes from things we can learn to grow ourselves! Children's class available.
Thursday, April 29
Stake Relief Society Meeting, 7:00pm at the Stake Center.
This is a special meeting for all Relief Society sisters. See the flier in the attachment. A children's class will be provided, but we need to know how many children you will be bringing, and their ages. Be sure to sign up on the sheet that will be passed around the next couple of Sundays.
