this is so pretty I noticed on page 13 there is a mis spell: it says crowed and needs to say crowned (the n is missing) thanks for all you do on your site. I have enjoyed viewing it many times. Sherry
This is a beautiful visual aid for "Praise to the Man." However, it is my understanding that "crowned in the midst of the prophets of old" does not refer to the Latter-day prophets but to the prophets that came before Joseph Smith--from the Bible and Book of Mormon. Tina
Tina, Thanks for your comment.I did not think in the exactly meaning of the words when I posted latter-day prophets pictures. Because this Hymn will be teach under the "The Church of Jesus Christ has Been Restored Theme"(Primary for May), I though will be good to introduce "others" prophets after that. Recently, kids learned about old prophets trough "Follow the Prophet". There is an empty space "in their minds" between old prophets/Joseph Smith and Pres. Hinckley /Monson... What I was thinking, as an alternative to share, was about the love and devotion W. Phelps felt for the prophet after rejoin to Church and his testimony of Him expressed in that poem after he spoked in Joseph Smith's funeral and set latter on as a Hymn. And the love of Jesus Christ and Joseph Smith for us, expressed by the restored gospel, priesthood, Book of Mormon and prophets. Again, thanks for your comment. Didi
