Jesus, Jelly Bean Bags - The sweet way to teach children about Easter

Place jelly beans (following the colors bellow) in a snack size Ziploc bag and attach the following poem (use some Jesus picture for the poem):

Red is for the blood He shed,
Green is for the grass He made,
Yellow is for the sun so bright,
Orange is for the edge of night.
Black is for the sins of man,
White is for the Holy Lamb.
Purple is for the hour of sorrow,
Pink is for the new tomorrow.
A bag full of jelly beans,
In memory of Christ's gifts of love
We thank our Father up above.

You'll find lots of free Easter bag/treat toppers over the internet. This is a sample:

Watch for Auxiliary Leadership Training in June 2014 on LDS.org (Available in June)

To better meet the needs of a growing Church, the general presidencies of the Relief Society, Primary, Young Women, Young Men, and Sunday School will provide worldwide training annually. This training will be available on LDS.org early in June each year in key languages.
The auxiliary leadership training meetings that were held in Salt Lake City in conjunction with April general conference at Church headquarters have been discontinued. General auxiliary presidencies and their boards will continue to provide training in multistake meetings, as assigned.

Mormon Tabernacle Choir appears in Disney's 'It's a Small World' 50th Anniversary video

As a kickoff to a worldwide celebration April 10, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was among groups and individuals from more than 25 countries featured in a video shown Friday in a segment of "Good Morning America" on ABC-TV.
The video can be viewed on the Disney Parks Blog at disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog.
"You can participate in this historic celebration by recording and sharing an online video of yourself singing 'It's a Small World' on our new global online hub SmallWorld50.com," wrote Thomas Smith, social media director for Disney Parks, on the blog.
On April 10, hundreds of people from the various Disney Parks — Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World in Florida, Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan, Disneyland Paris in France and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort — will come together to sing the song.
Go share your online video at  SmallWorld50.com and keep checking the Disney Parks Blog as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of "it's a small world"

Stace Duce says........about "Come Follow Me" lessons

Duce's Wild: Memorable LDS 'Come, Follow Me' lessons may require second-year modifications
by Stace Duce for Deseret News

One of the few debatable challenges with the youth Sunday School lessons based on the “Come, Follow Me” curriculum is the fact that they're so memorable.
Last year’s lessons seem like they happened yesterday.
So, it has been somewhat of an undertaking for second-year teachers, like me, to study “Come, Follow Me” options and discover the same degree of freshness found last spring. As a result, I’ve chosen to make modifications for two weeks in a row.
