Reviewing Mormon Manners

The LDS Living Magazine recently had pointed regular basis situation in the Church which are considered "bad manners", doesn't matter what are your social condition.
The rules for the minimum etiquette are still on.  Talking about Mormon Maners, what do you think about:
  • Electronics at Church
  • Leaving Meetings Early
  • “Family Pews” and Saving Seats
  • Strong perfumes and colognes
  • Living dirty diapers inside the Church buildings
  • Doing "business"
  • and many, many  others that you can add to this list?
One event here - another event there - Where are your manners?

They really aren't that hard to uphold you know, and a dose of good manners in your system ensures respect from others.
Many of us need a reminder. It is so sad these days that children and adults alike are severely lacking in this department. It is just rude to not have good manners, it makes people look down on you as well.
Courtesy, politeness or Good Manners means kindly and thoughtful consideration for others.

"Correct etiquette not only ensures that a meal will be pleasant or a wedding will run smoothly, it can also make or break a career".

With general conference comes a pilgrimage to missionary reunions, an uncharted and unofficial spiritual coming together for former missionaries and their presidents. Come and celebrate friendships and spiritual growth. Take a look back at what was personally achieved and learned during a time fraught with challenges, self-assessment, individual determination and personal sacrifice.
The "sons" of  President Steven Kent Knudson (2000-2003) will meet at:
Friday, 01 April 2011
7:00 - 9:00 pm
Open House / Refreshments

To Whom It May Concern

Some of you asked me about "Relief Society's design cake", for dinner or any other event. My talented  friends, Katia, of "Sociedade de Socorro Virtual" and Bete, of "A Caridade Nunca Falha" have in their blogs some cakes collected and their respective sites. Take a look there - lots ideas for! Love,

Church’s Missionaries in Japan All Safe and Accounted For

Church leaders confirmed that all missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in Japan are safe and accounted for. The Church had been working diligently to make contact with missionaries in Sendai despite difficulty with communication systems and traveling in and around the city. Families and friends of the missionaries in the Sendai area had been anxiously awaiting word that their loved ones were safe. The Church released a statement yesterday saying, "our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Japan following the recent devastating earthquake and tsunami."
The Church is assessing the needs of its members and others in the communities impacted by the earthquake. Hundreds of individuals have been confirmed dead and tens of thousands have been displaced. Hundreds of homes and buildings have been destroyed and strong aftershocks continue to shake the area. The 8.9 magnitude quake was the strongest quake on record in Japan.

"Relief Society: Divine Organization of Women" - Parts 1 to 5

Let's Celebrate!
Those videos clips will illustrate your Relief Society Celebration!

The motto of the Relief Society, taken from 1 Corinthians 13:8, is "Charity never faileth".The official purpose of Relief Society is to "prepare women for the blessings of eternal life by helping them increase their faith and personal righteousness, strengthen families and homes, and help those in need.
Relief Society accomplishes these purposes through Sunday gospel instruction, other Relief Society meetings, visiting teaching, and welfare and compassionate service."

Primary June Theme

My apologies!

Sorry! Its been so long since I posted something.
I somehow managed to catch a "predator" in my computer and also try to managed my busy life, which means Church callings, Wife callings, Student callings and 911 callings!.
But, it said:

"Worrying makes you cross the bridge before you come to it".

So, lets  put the worry where it belongs.
I have a couple of new pages done. I'm starting with Primary.
Well, I'll be back in a while to upload the rest of the pages.
See you there!
