Still Father's Day!

Lila, of Yahoo Groups, had asked some help for her last minute "What we'll do for Father's Day"  - for all Dads in her Ward. In her mind came something like 'Fishing Dad", that comes with a small ziploc bag filled with gummy worms and the topper saying "Dad, I'm hooked on you".
The kids will fill the bags on Sunday and give to "Dad's".
If you are in the same situation, you can use that idea because you still have time to do it! (my topper is for small ziploc bags).

YW - Lesson 22 and 23 - NOTE REMINDER

Make sure with your Young Women Presidency you are giving the coreect class.
The "Young Women Resource Guide 2011 for Manual 3" has a suggestion for lesson 22 and 23 and it says:

Lesson 22
Eternal Perspective
Note to leaders: You may want to reverse the order of lessons 22 and 23 and teach first “Overcoming Opposition” and how young women can draw closer to Heavenly Father in times of trial. Then teach the lesson on “Eternal Perspective” and how Heavenly Father blesses young women as they ponder His plan of salvation in light of their trials and difficulties......."

Immigration: Church Issues New Statement

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today issued the following official statement on immigration:
Around the world, debate on the immigration question has become intense. That is especially so in the United States. Most Americans agree that the federal government of the United States should secure its borders and sharply reduce or eliminate the flow of undocumented immigrants. Unchecked and unregulated, such a flow may destabilize society and ultimately become unsustainable.

As a matter of policy, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints discourages its members from entering any country without legal documentation, and from deliberately overstaying legal travel more

Valentine's Ideas

"Valentine's Day" in Brazil is June 12th.
For all recently requests, I have some ideas here or you can visit Martha Stewart  and other craft sites; they have "tons" of inspiration.
