LDS Young Boys drown during Carnival's Camping in Curitiba, Brazil

Two LDS teenagers drowned in early morning on Monday (March, 3) in Pinhais, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. Maicon T Linsmeier, 15, and Franco Michelisa, 16, drowned during a competition in a Carnival's Camping, who were participating.

According to the Fire Department, they participated in games organized by the Camping Leaders and, between them, had to rescue two bottles that were near that lake. However, the bottle came off the margins and was washed away. In an attempt to pick up the bottle that fell off one of them drowned. The friend went into the lake to rescue the other, but eventually also drowned. The tragedy happened at about 6.30 am.

The events took place within a farm called Instance Don Raul. The lake where the teens drowned is 2 feet deep. The bodies were removed from the lakes and sent to the Medico-Legal Institute (IML) of Curitiba.

God be with them till we meet again.
